Important Update on Adport Income

Latest Updates From United Paycheck

Dear Affiliates,

As you all know, we have implemented 'Online Activity Points System' (OAPS) through 'Activity Board' in United Paycheck business. This addition will give you an opportunity to perform 'Online Activity' and earn 'Activity Points' (APs). This is on demo from 13th May. Now OAPS will be attached to your Adport income processing from Sunday. Please read below points carefully:

A. From Sunday, 19th May '13, the daily income (ad port income) will ONLY be generated based on the 'Activity Points' earned by you. So please remember to complete your 'Target Activity Points' daily and earn the Adport income.

B. Since the income will now be processed based on your activity, the income for the work done on Sunday will be processed on Monday, i.e. next day. To get inline to this, Sunday (19th May), income will be processed on Monday, 20th May. Thereafter, it will be processed daily as always for the work done on previous day. Thus the maximum returns remains same as per our policies.

Things to know for the Online Activity Points System (OAPS):

1. 'Activity Board' link under 'Business' shows you details related to current date Activities. History of your work can be seen from 'Activity Point History' under 'Business'.

2. 'Activities completed' shows the number of activities performed that day.

3. 'Target Activity Points' is the number of Activity Points (APs) one needs to earn to qualify for 100% of Adport income that day. You need to earn 1 Activity Point (AP) for each active adport in your account. The exception is that you have to earn minimum 20 APs to qualify for current date income. E.g., if you have 7 active adport, your taget APs to be earned will be 20. If you have 33 active adports, your taget APs to be earned will be 33 for 100% aport income that day. If you complete 50% target (and minimum 20 APs), you still earn 50% of the adport income that day. You even get PAID for partial work, wonderful!!

4. 'Activity Points Earned' shows the number of APs that you earned on that day. This can not exceed the target APs, although you all allowed to continue the Activity if you like to.

5. 'Target Completion' shows your eligibility % for adport income for that day. Maximum is 100%

6. You can earn APs in multiple sessions in a day. So you dont need to complete the target APs in one shot necessarily.

7. Any number of active adports more than 260 does not require you to perform online activity in order to earn adport income. You get paid FREE for these adports!!

8. Currently each website that you view will give you 10 APs, subject to earn maximum APs equal to your target APs. In future, we will add more activities which can be worth more or less than 10 APs, depending on our contract with the clients.

United Paycheck Phase 2 Guide

What is Member Fee and who needs to pay this?

Standard and Premium members of United Paycheck need to pay a monthly membership fee of $10 for their account maintenance. There is no fee for ‘Free’and ‘Paid’members.

How should the fee be paid?

The fee can be paid using the ‘Main Wallet’funds. The ‘Pay Fee’link will be shown a week in advance before the due date and till the fee is paid.

What is grace period for payment of fee?

Affiliates get 7 days grace period to pay the fee even after the due date and enjoy earning all kind of incomes here. In grace period, all the incomes will be credited as it is. Only difference is that the account will not be able to withdraw money or use M2M feature in the grace period.

What are different Account Types and what does each signify?

Account Type depends on total AdPort count and binary earnings. This does not depend on whether the fee is paid or due. Below are four account types.

(a) Free: Account with ‘’active plus expired AdPorts. This account never bought any AdPort and just registered. No fee is applicable. The account will be eligible to earn unlimited direct income and binary income upto $20.

(b) Paid: Account with 1 to 10 active plus expired AdPorts and binary income ≤$20.

No fee is applicable.

(c) Standard: Account with 11 or more active plus expired AdPorts and/or binary income ≥20. $10 monthly fee is applicable.

(d) Premium: Account with Main AdPort earning ≥$2000. $10 monthly fee is applicable. For every 40:40 pair for second binary table, the affiliate must have referred at least one direct adport on either side after affiliates’last second binary income, else both the legs will get carry forwarded to next day.

What are different Account Statuses and what does each signify?

Account Status depends on the fee due date and number of active Adport. Below are various types of account statuses.

(A) Active: Accounts with no fee due and with at least one active AdPort will have ‘Active’status.

(B) Grace: Accounts with fee and in grace period and with at least one active AdPort will have ‘Grace’status. Withdrawal request and “Member to Member Transfer”will not work in ‘Grace’status.

(C) Suspended: Account with all expired AdPorts and no active adports will have ‘Suspended’status. Also, if fee is applicable for the account, it must not be due beyond grace period. The account can only earn direct referral. Withdrawal and member to member transfer will not work.

(D) Temporary Blocked: Accounts with fee due beyond grace period (with or without active adports) will have ‘TBlock’status. The account can only earn direct referral. Daily income will not be generated even if there are active adports. Withdrawal and member to member transfer will not work. As soon as the fee is paid, the status changes to the appropriate status i.e. “Active”or “Suspended” depending on number of active adports.

Note: ‘Free’Account Types do not have any Account Status.

Do I need to pay any fee to earn Direct Referral, Binary and daily income?

No, you do not need to pay any fee to earn any amount of direct referral income. You can earn upto $20 of binary income and have upto 10 adports without any fee.

What happens to my binary table points in Suspended and TBlock account status?

The binary pair is deducted from the main binary table and power team will be carry forwarded. There will be no deduction in points from the second binary table. For ex. if a suspended account have 10:5 points in main binary table and 40:60 points in Second Binary table, when the binary income is processed for suspended and TBlock accounts, no binary income is credited. The main table will have 5:0 (after removing 5 pairs) and second binary table 40:60 (no points removed) after the binary process.

How many adports are required to earn binary income?

Affiliates need to have minimum 1 active adport to earn main binary income, else the account will be in ‘Suspended’status and will not earn any binary income. Any account must have minimum 11 active adports to earn second binary income. In case the number of active adports is less than 11, the left and right, both the teams in second binary table will be carry forwarded to next day.

What are the rules for FREE account type?

Binary income cap upto $20. After this free account’s weaker leg will be flushed out daily upto 3 months.

All IDs which crosses 3 months and are still free, both the power and weaker leg will be flushed out daily.

What are the Withdrawal and M2M rules?

The account must be funded atleast once using ‘Add fund’feature with any amount.

Free account types can not withdraw or do M2M.

Accounts only with ‘Active’status can put withdrawal request or do M2M.

United Paycheck Binary Calculations

Sub Ad Port binary is paid when - Main Ad Port binary balancing, for that day, is at least 10% of the highest eligible level of any 6 levels of Sub Ad Port binary. Till Sub Ad Port binary is not paid, both the teams in Sub Ad Port table are carry forwarded.

Example 1: If an Affiliate is at 40 : 40 level, the binary will be paid only if, in Main AdPort table he/she has a balancing of at least 4 : 4; Same applies on all 6 levels of Binary.

Example 2: Continuing the above example, in case an Affiliate is at 40: 40 level, and the Main AdPort table table balancing is less than 4 : 4, the SubAdPort binary gets carry forwarded to next day;

Example 3: In case an Affiliate is at 80 : 80 level, and the Main AdPort table balancing is 4 : 4, the binary is paid for highest eligible level i.e. 40 : 40 and the weaker team gets flushed out. Same applies for all levels of Binary.

For quite some time I have realized the POWER in being involved with the Social Media Revolution.

I have been recommending my fellow network marketers to get involved. Some have seen the importance of getting involved while others have not. The ones who won’t get involved absolutely baffle me. I have heard several of my downline make statements like, “I don’t have time to play around on Facebook!”

Are You Serious About Learning The Business

I loved Jim Rohn. Even though he is gone, his pearls of wisdom will continue on and on.

That quote is so true, especially in network marketing. There are always plenty of upline who have been there and are usually willing to help someone in their downline who is serious about learning the business.

Learning the business involves taking responsibility and acting like a professional business person. Professional network marketers keep up with company news and upline mentor training. They subscribe to everything their upline leaders publish. There are always distributors in your upline who have built a successful business. These are people you can learn from. What did the successful distributors in your upline do to get to where they are in their business.

I realize I am preaching to the choir. If you are reading this, you areprobably not one of the people I am talking about.

One thing that has baffled me over the years is the amount of distributors who say they want success in their business but they don’t keep up with company news and upline newsletters or conference calls. I must admit, this is one of the biggest pet peeves in my business. Many distributors don’t seem to want to spend time learning some basic skills that would help them build their business. They just think that all they need to do is set up a distributor account and then by osmosis or something they will be making big money.

If you are serious about being a professional network marketer, it is vital that you be as involved as you can in learning the business. Even though I have been in the network marketing industry for over 16 years, I am still learning.

Find out who in your upline have training materials and newsletters and subscribe to them. There are also loads of training from people who have experience. I highly recommend theHome and Small Business Network for awesome training for any type of home or small business.

Google is still a teenager

It all starts with Google, doesn’t it? Not really – it’s all about Google today because Google is the most used search engine.

Google, like any other software, evolves and corrects its own bugs and conceptual failures. The goal of the engineers working at Google is to constantly improve its search algorithm, but that’s no easy job.

Google is a great search engine, but Google is still a teenager.

This article was inspired by my high expectations of the Google algorithm that have been blown away in the last year, seeing how Google’s search results “evolved.” If we look at some of the most competitive terms in Google we will see a search engine filled with spam and hacked domains ranking in the top 10.

Why Can Google Still Not Catch Up With the Spammers?

Panda, Penguin, and the EMD update did clear some of the clutter. All of these highly competitive terms have been repeatedly abused for years. I don’t think there was ever a time when these results were clean, in terms of what Google might expect from its own search engine.

Even weirder is that the techniques used to rank this spam are as old as (if not older than) Google itself. And this brings me to a question:

The only difference between now and then is the period of time a spam result will “survive” in the SERPs. Now it's decreased from weeks to days, or even hours in some cases.

One of the side effects of Google's various updates is a new business model: ranking high on high revenue-generating keywords for a short amount of time. For those people involved in this practice, it scales very well.

How Google Ranks Sites Today: A Quick Overview

These are two of the main ranking signal categories:

On-page factors.
Off-page factors.

On-page and off-page have existed since the beginning of the search engine era. Now let’s take a deeper look at the most important factors that Google might use.

Regarding the on-page factors Google will try to understand and rate the following:

How often a site is updated. A site that isn't updated often doesn't mean it's low quality. This just tells Google how often it should crawl the site and it will compare the update frequency to other sites’ update frequency in the same niche to determine a trend and pattern.
If the content is unique. Duplicate content matching applies a negative score)
If the content provides interest to the users. Bounce rate and traffic data mixed on-page with off-page).
If the site is linking out to a bad neighborhood.
If the site is inter-linked with high-quality sites in the same niche.
If the site is over-optimized from an SEO point of view.
Other various smaller on page related factors.

The off-page factors are mainly the links. The social signals are still in their infancy and there is no exact study yet that clearly shows a true correlation of the social signals without being merged with the link signal. It is all speculation until now.

Talking about links they could be easily classified in two big categories:

Natural. Link appeared as a result of:
- The organic development of a page (meritocracy).
- A result of a “pure” advertising campaign with no intent of directly changing the SERPs.
Unnatural. Link appeared:

With the purpose to influencing a search engine ranking.

Unfortunately, the unnatural links represent a very large percentage of what the web is today. This is mainly due to Google’s (and the other search engines’) ranking models. The entire web got polluted because of this concept.

When your unnatural link ratio is way higher than your natural (organic) link ratio, it raises a red flag and Google starts watching your site more carefully.

Google tries to fight the unnatural link patterns with various algorithm updates. Some of the most popular updates, that targeted unnatural link patterns and low quality links, are the Penguin and EMD updates.

Google’s major focus today is on improving the way it handles link profiles. This is another difficult task, which is why Google is having a hard time making its way through the various techniques used by SEO pros (black hat or white hat) to influence positively or negatively the natural ranking of a site.

Google's Stunted Growth

Google is like a young teenager stuck on some difficult math problem. Google's learning process apparently involves trying to solve the problem of web spam by applying the same process in a different pattern – why can’t Google just break the pattern and evolve?

Is Google only struggling to maintain an acceptable ranking formula? Will Google evolve or stick with what it’s doing, just in a largely similar format?

Other search engines like Blekko have taken a different route and have tried to crowdsource content curation. While this works well in a variety of niches, the big problem with Blekko is that this content curation is not too “mainstream” putting the burden of the algorithm on the shoulders of its own users. But the pro users appreciate it and make the Blekko results quite good.

In a perfect, non-biased scenario, Google’s ranked results should be:

Ranked by non-biased ranking signals.
Impossible to be affected by third parties (i.e., negative SEO or positive SEO).
Able to tell the difference between bad and good (remember the JCPenny scandal).
More diverse and impossible to manipulate.
Giving new quality sites a chance to rank near the “giant” old sites.
Maintaining transparency.

There is still a long way to go until Google’s technology evolves from the infancy we know today. Will we have to wait until Google is 18 or 21 years old – or even longer – before Google reaches this level of maturity that it dreams of?

Until then, the SEO community is left with testing and benchmarking the way Google evolves – and maybe try to create a book of best practices about search engine optimization.

Google created an entire ecosystem that started backfiring a long time ago. They basically opened the door to all the spam concepts that they are now fighting today.

Is this illegal or immoral, white or black? Who are we to decide? We are no regulatory entity!

Conclusion

Google is a complicated “piece” of software that is being updated constantly, with each update theoretically bringing new fixes and improvements.

None of us were born smart, but we have learned how to become smart as we’ve grown. We never stop learning.

The same applies to Google. We as human beings are imperfect. How could we create a perfect search engine? Are we able to?

Remove Broken Links

I was searching the plugins to help protect against virus links and I discovered one that checks your blog for broken links. It seemed like a good idea since this blog has been around a while and has a lot of blog comments. I had already noticed a few broken links and fixed them as I found them.I installed and activated the Broken Link Checker plugin. I’m glad I stumbled across Broken Link Checker plugin.

A bunch of broken links on your web site or blog isn’t good for your search engine rankings. If you have a lot of broken links it looks like you aren’t keeping up with things on your blog. Search engines are programmed to take things like that into consideration when ranking web sites. They are looking for quality sites. The higher number of broken links lowers the quality of your site in their eyes.I really appreciate that this plugin sends an email when my has broken links. It is set to check every 72 hours but you can change that.

Most of the broken links were in comments that were made on posts. Sad to say, many people don’t take their business seriously enough to stick with it and they let their domains go. This is far too common in our industry. This is also why I am glad to have found this plugin. I thought you would appreciate knowing about it if you haven’t been using it already.

Don’t Market Products or Opportunities – Market Information

This process is known as educational marketing and it’s the perfect solution to those of you who are using “harassment” marketing techniques. People join people and not opportunities so make it a point to position yourself as a leader by proving you know what you’re doing. There’s no better way to prove this than to educate your prospects on how to run a successful network marketing business. Make sense, right?

The key to attraction is teaching your prospects how to build a business well before they actually join you and your business. The last thing you want to do is tell them what you’re doing and how you’re creating an unstoppable and profitable organization. Show the way how to make thousands and thousands of dollars per month and let them draw their own conclusion.

As a matter of fact, you want to teach them regardless if they join your business or not. You want to give value to the entire community so that we can learn from each other and take this wonderful industry to levels it’s never been before.

When somebody is looking for an opportunity they’re looking for a solution, not a home based business or a product to promote. The opportunity is just the vehicle used for their solution. Once the decision has been made the biggest obstacle most face is wondering if they’re going to be successful in being an entrepreneur.

By giving them rock solid and fluff free business advice, you’re showing them how to be successful.

You are giving them a true solution and not a short-term fluke. You’re demonstrating that there is lots and lots of money to be made in network marketing contrary to what people say.

Why are people afraid to commit? Because they don’t want to be screwed. The lack of knowledge is the number one factor to create fear. By educating them you will eliminate all of their fears and you will also build a solid and trusting relationship. It’s much easier to sell yourself when you are providing advice and facts that are genuinely useful to them.

This entire technique is known as indirect selling. Your giving them everything they need to know such as good sales and marketing strategies, how to position yourself as a leader, how to properly talk to prospects on the phone, how to sort the suspects from the pre-qualified prospects, how to handle objections, etc. This just happens to be what you do and what you provide through your opportunity….what a coincidence!

I’ll say it again, people join people and not opportunities. If they don’t believe you, they don’t join you. This secret is known by all of the leaders and top marketers. They don’t market products or services, they market knowledge! If you follow this practice you’ll erase the believability factor and earn their trust making YOUR opportunity the next logical step.

But the most important thing that I can’t stress enough is this – The information you give MUST be useful and offers value all by itself. It cannot be a shameless pitch masked as as educational content. Yes, at some point you have to let them know what your opportunity has to offer but wait until they approach you or feel it’s the right time to let them know (some people are afraid to ask and you’ll know it when this happens). Until then, quality information has to be the main focus, not your sales pitch.

Remember, sell yourself and invest in yourself because you are your biggest asset. Now I hope you understand why having the best opportunity, products, and compensation plan is completely irrelevant to network marketing success!

Is Google a Monopoly and Does It Matter?

Break out your history books, folks. It’s time to take a look at monopolies and how the definition may apply to Google’s dominance of the Web in recent years. Sound like dry subject matter to you? It’s not really, if you consider the obscene implications the past may have in relation to the future of the Internet.

A Brief History of US Trusts and Monopolies

Is the history lesson really necessary? Well, yes, if you want to truly understand how to answer the question posed by this article. Never fear – I’ll keep things seriously brief.

A monpoly is essentially capitalism on steroids. The hallmark of a monopoly is a virtual lack of competition. This lack of competition typically leads the monopoly in question to set higher prices, given that there’s no market forces to keep it in check. Inferior products can also result from the lack of competition – and the public will still purchase them if for no other reason than a lack of options.

Here’s the idea of an old school trust: it’s an arrangement between several investors who hold stock in different companies. The stockholders transfer their shares to one combined set of trustees. The reward for their contribution comes in the form of a certificate entitling them to a specified share of the jointly managed companies’ consolidated earnings. Since trusts dominated many of the biggest US industries in the late 1800s, they were effectively monopolies in each of their respective economic areas.

After the Standard Oil Trust formed in 1882, the company and its affiliates had control of greater than 90% of oil refining and marketing in the United States. Needless to say, this did not sit well with the American people. That’s why Congress passed the Sherman Antitrust Act in 1890. The measure effectively destroyed trusts and monopolies that hampered international and interstate trade. From that point on, the US government had the power to bust open companies that had too much power and break them into smaller pieces.

Fast forward to recent history. Microsoft was the first large-scale tech company to be accused of industry monopolization in the US. In a historic 1998 court case, plaintiffs alleged that Microsoft held an abusive monopolistic power on the personal computer industry.

How?

Well, the issue was centered upon the company’s practice of bundling Internet Explorer with its Windows-based operating system. Plaintiffs accused Microsoft of holding a monopoly on Internet browsers since most consumers used the Internet Explorer software prepackaged with their PCs. The case ended with a settlement and a slap on the wrist for Microsoft.

What’s really interesting here is that Nobel economist Milton Friedman, who has since passed away, commented on the case’s outcome by speculating that the Microsoft decision set what he called a “dangerous precedent” which would lead to greater government regulation of tech – and he thought that would impede progress.

Then along came Google.

Google’s Rise to Power

Google really began taking shape as the company we know it today back in 2000. During that year, the company celebrated a sequence of pivotal events: it announced that it had indexed over one billion pages, it teamed up with Yahoo, and it rolled out its search platform in 15 different languages.

Of course, everything began to snowball from there. Google went onto acquire a large number of companies, and it introduced its AdWords program to generate revenue to sustain its growth. Sustain it did – in fact, by 2011, over 96% of the company’s profits came from AdWords… to the tune of $32.2 billion dollars!

However, Google has had its share of hardships over the past couple of years. Despite record profits, it’s dealt with patent suits numbering in the thousands from competing technology companies. It has battled lawsuits from governments and individuals around the world. It’s had trouble getting Google+ to catch on. It had a leaked earnings report to contend with last month. Nevertheless, Big G has held strong as the most powerful tech company in the world – and it’s growing stronger every day.

Google’s Chokehold: Stifling Innovation?

The strategy for Google’s growth seems to be multifaceted, but the main features include the nurturing and expansion of its AdWords program (its bread and butter) and the acquisition of companies to flesh out its ever-growing patent portfolio (its suit of armor).

Take, for example, the mobile industry. Apple and Google are in a cutthroat battle to the death to snap up as many patents as possible. They’re doing this to protect themselves from lawsuits as they blindly feel their way through the ever-evolving landscape of mobile development. A total of $20 billion in patent purchases and patent litigation fees was spent across the board if you include all the heavy hitters in the industry.

Why?

The more patents a company has, the more protection it gains for the new intellectual property it creates. Google is always coming out with new products, so it needs all the protection it can get. Defending against lawsuits is one thing, but acquiring companies and patents like gangbusters is quite another. For many, the patent and company acquisition strategies alone are enough of a basis to accuse Google of monopolizing the tech industry – and stifling innovation in the process.

FTC Sets Sights on Google

This is an unprecedented time for governments around the globe. Google is facing pressure from a variety of countries, a possible backlash against the fear that Big G’s monopoly is – quite frankly – taking over the world.

For example, a settlement was finally reached in a recent group of French lawsuits. The suit took issue with Google’s digitization of French books, and the litigation had stretched on for six long years. In the UK this month, the government will begin investigating Google’s alleged tax avoidance. There are many other suits out there – you can find a detailed list of some of the bigger ones here. Google is even being sued by, um, the world, in one case. Guess unchecked global domination makes you one heck of a tasty target.

In the US, Google hasn’t had it much easier. U.S. Federal Trade Commission Chairman Jonathan Leibowitz is pressuring Google to make some major concessions in the agency’s antitrust investigation. The FTC lawsuit means that the US government certainly seems to think so. The outcome of the suit will really begin to solidify the argument. Regardless, here’s what is certain: Google is a worldwide, globally dominating force. Many governments are beginning to try to check that power into submission. But Google’s reach is far and its pockets deep. My take? Google can sidestep government intervention all it wants. Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, and pals will continue to be the thorn in G’s side – and, quite possibly, the silver bullet of competition that will protect our global, digital society from totalitarian dominance.

If you are promoting a program that sells a product the emphasis by the merchant should be put on making the sale, not building their list first. Before you join any affiliate program you can take a look at the sales pace to see where that merchant is putting their priorities.

2. Build your own website first. This is a way to avoid the mistake we just read about.

If you are going to promote a product where the merchant wants to build their list, build your list first. The way to do that is to promote your own landing page and have subscribers go into your autoresponder before passing them through to the affiliate sales page.

In reality this is a better approach to doing affiliate marketing anyway. Building an email list is an excellent asset that allows you to make money online in many ways in the future.

3. Greed by the merchant. You can get a pretty good idea how the merchant values their affiliates by how much they are willing to pay.

Some affiliate merchants are greedy. They would prefer to keep more money for themselves. The smart ones do not do this.

They understand that the best affiliate marketers are greedy. If you develop into a super affiliate you can always contact any merchant and negotiate a better rate.
